This course, offered as part of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics for Organizations, equips students with the tools to understand the unique characteristics of the cultural and arts sectors, while developing skills in document production and teamwork. The course is divided into three parts: the first explores the nature of cultural and artistic goods through a welfare model; the second analyses the general dynamics of arts and cultural markets from a supply and demand perspective; and the third focuses on non-market mechanisms that support the cultural sector. In addition, students will acquire skills in analysing the arts and cultural sectors by examining the key economic actors involved and the policies that shape them. As part of a programme that combines rigorous economic training with advanced statistical research, this course offers a multidisciplinary approach that meets the evolving needs of businesses, economic-financial institutions and the cultural sector.
